VB Programmers needed in CT !!
Hello!
I am a IT recruiter and I am looking for people experienced with VB for two programming positions located in Greenwich, CT. If this doesn't sound like you, perhaps you can refer me to someone else who would be more interested or point me in a direction of where I can find these types of people. Any help is greatly appreciated!
1) Will be VB/SQL Server Programmer where you would be developing systems to support the company's trading, middle office, and back office activities. Advanced experience with SQL Server, Access, VBA, VB.net and ADO required. Will be supporting and enhancing the current Portfolio Mgmt application (Access ADP front-end, SQL Server 2005 back-end), automating data feends to external systems, developing stored procedures and user defined functions.
2) Will be mainly VB but wants someone with SQL, ADO and Access experience. Here you will be developing systems to support the companys trading activities, build front ends for databases, building standalone apps for data entry and data analysis, and authoring tools for automatic code generation.
On both, projects will vary, but may consist of creating/maintaining IDE add-ins for VB6 and .net, maintaining/extending existing code libraries, and unit testing.
The company is an investment management firm and well known on Wall Street. The atmosphere for the 2nd position will be more energetic (on trading floor with an open desk)
They are looking for someone w/ excellent math and quantative skills. They have good benefits and some good perks.
*** Want person who is willing to learn about the company and is passionate about what they do and about business in general ***
**Send me a message if you are interested in hearing more about this. It would be a great opportunity!***
