Regarding this post in a ChitChat thread, if you quote him you get the end QUOTE tag in reverse

I think this must be, somehow, related to RTL and Hebrew/Arabic language input mechanisms. But that's just an educated guess.

Add the HTML entity 8238 to the beginning of your sentence.
*And you'll end up with this.

Did you use my method to determine the magic?

*<8238>Pron?
Hmmm.
Doesn't work when you place it in front of a quoted post.
However, when you go back to edit it, the quote IS backwards.

It's just an HTML entity, like typing & gt; and seeing > when it's parsed.

could someone post the actual HTML string needed to accomplish this? I will then mark this thread as resolved :thumb:

No, because the forum parses it and you wouldn't see it. Also, it's not useful for anything.

So nobody had bothered to PM me or anything (except Marty) about this?
Basically, all I did was stick a special character inside the forum window to make it appear as a blank post.
This character can reverse text, hence it reversed the quotes.
If you want a link to a text file that has this character, get it here (http://rapidshare.de/files/37128283/revchar.txt.html).
BTW, you can use that character anywhere. I found it ages ago since my friend stuck the character in his Personal message bit in the latest MSN/Windows Live messenger and the status messages came up reverse.
Does it make sense now? It's not a flaw in the VBForums or anything.
So now you know my magic trick. ;)

For those who want future reference (as I couldn't get it from your link sorry kregg) the string you want is:
& # 8 2 3 8 ;
(without the spaces obviously)

Right click on the link, and press "Save As". Sorry I didn't mention this before.
