windows dhcp utility
Hi,
I've been tasked to create/build a small windows utility that can act as a dhcp server to assign IPs to 3-4 machines. All systems are running Win XP and for some reason they dont want to use the existing Windows DHCP server in Windows 2003 Server edition or any commercially available product.
Its not required to run as a windows service. As far as I understand they are looking for some small program/utility (GUI if possible) that they can launch from one dedicated machine and can assign IPs to 3-4 machines connected on the LAN.
I'm a junior level programmer but was hoping if someone can point me in the right direction....
Sorry if its a stupid question, but I'll really appreciate any help or advice
Thanks
Uzee
