    Which Version

    Is Visual Studio 2005 Standard limited to SQL Server Desktop Engine/MS Access databases?

    I know you can connect through code regardless, but would like to be able to use the IDE also.

    I guess you haven't heard, There is no MSDE anymore... it's called Express Edition and if you use VS Express Edition along with MS SQL Express Edition you can pretty much do anything except for a few restrictions until you buy a full version
