I'm tooling around trying to figure out the RFC to do with LPR printing, and trying to apply it to WinSock so I can have my computer helpdesk software print a client 'current status' to my HP JetDirect enabled printer, no matter where in the country they are! No, I cannot have the user print any other way. My program, when run by the client, MUST print via LPR to the JetDirect box. I've sort of figured it out, but the printer always bombs with network errors on the LCD display. I don't want to shell to an external program to print.

Any examples of LPR printing in VB would be fabulous!

Thanks,

Mark
