Data Report and DataEnviroment

Hi:
I would like to do this programmatically:

Creating Report with Data Report by using Dataenviroment (no 3rd party report utility because of $$$).

1) I make a connection with Dataenviroment,
2) I retrived all records by SQL thru a combo selection (normal SQL statement? "Select ..Whrer..Orderby?).
3) populate Data Report
4) then Print.

Am I correct. I would like to DO IT BY CODING.

Is there any Tutorial or Sample?

I look through the Code Bank.
