Unable to create web application in asp.net
Hello everybody
I have visual studio 2005 beta2 with .net framework beta2.now when i want to create a ASP.net web application i am not able to do so coz i dont find that option when i go to File->New Projects->Visual Basic.plz tell me which version of .net should i use.i have then created a asp.net web site but there i am not able to create any global function.what i want is similar to module in vb6 where we can declare a function which can be called from other pages.plz help me coz i am really stuck

Are you sure it's VS 2005 and not some express edition product? Post a snapshot of the new project dialog box.

Just something to keep in mind, you don't need VS to create ASP applications. You could just type it all out in notebad or a text editor and just upload it to your website. Also MS Visual WebDev Express is a great alternative.
ok, so... windows takes 1 minute to search for a file on my PC yet google.com takes 1 second to search the entire internet?
