[Resolved]how can I prevent subreport from starting new page?

    hi,
my report has three group headers (State, County ,City). the third section (City) is a subreport. what I'm trying to do is to have a normal contenious flow of my data so I applied "Keep Together" option on the State Level and that kept my State and County together but my City (subreport) always starts in a new page. is there any way I can keep my subreport in the same page as my County and State?

    thank you,

oK , U RIGHT CLICK the Section where the label are displayed of Report Header , Group Herader etc...... , and go to Section Expert, now check that before that section or in that section or after that section , is there any checked mark of "New Page After" or "New Page Below".

I hope thsi will solve ur problem.
    Thanks and Regards,

I checked. I removed all the checkboxes for that section, previous and next and still the report page break on the subreport.

    thanks

On the section format page, go to the first section and check the "Underlay Following Sections" and try running it then.

I forgot to ask...which section is the subreport in?

I'd try putting the subreport into a detail section. In the group before it, check off underlay following sections. I'll have to test this when I get the chance. You might want to try placing the sub in different sections to see what happens.

King - I tried placing the subreport is different section but still breaking. I thought the problem is related to the subreport in the previous section but after many manipulation I still got the blank area. I attached the design and the output.

    thank you

You still have the subreport in the group header section. Have you tried removing that group header and placing the sub in the first detail section?

the problem was that in the property of the subreport. I unchecked Keep Object together checkbox and that did it.
