    Resolved [RESOLVED] Compiler crash, reference lost

    Hi, my VB2005EE crashed and now when I try to debug or run a project, that worked before the crash, it complains that it cannot find the reference. Sure enough, I checked the references and noticed it indeed does not find the required reference, microsoft.stdformat (COM). So what to do? I tried using NET stdformat but it still gives errors. Do I have to install something? Reregister? The specific text given on the references list was: <system cannot find the reference specified>, if it helps.

    Ah, found it! Apparently, I had to reregister msstdfmt.dll to make it work. Live and learn.
