Does anyone know where to get Source code for Compressing files in C++ or VB?*

You can use the Visual Basic setup DLL to uncompress CAB files in Visual Basic. Visual Basic should also come provided with an executable file that converts to CAB.

Check out your setup project files for details on how to decompress using the dll.

I personally wouldn't recommend you to try to do it in VB. Lot of work, and inefficient.

But if you insist... take a look at:

Or write "compress" in the nice little text box at the top of your VB-world page, then press the "Search" button and see what happens!
