need help on a simple log question
Hi i am doing a buiolding surveying degree and have come across this log question that im stuck on as i havnt come across them before. If someone could help me out that would be great. Iv got to work out t in each case.
53=10 log (1/T) 25=10 log (1/T) 20=10 log (1/T)
log 1/T = 5.3 log 1/T = 2.5 log 1/T = 2
1/T= 1/T= 1/T=
Thanks for any help

Re: need help on a simple log question
Assuming base 10 you get
1/T = 10^5.3
1/T = 10^2.5
1/T = 10^2
This is because log (base a) b = c is the same as a^c = b
