I installed VB6 Enterprise edition on my Nt workstation. I was logged on as myself with temporary Administrator rights to load the software. However, these Administrator rights have been revoked after my 90 day login expired. Now when I try to use the Data Format Wizard it tells me I don't have the Professional or Enterprise edition installed followed with an "Automation Error" dialog box.? However, if I log on to my machine locally as an administratior everything works? The IS guy thinks it has something to do with my installation originally when I had Administrator rights. Our IS department now has a new Manger and he tells me he cannot grant me Administrator rights and suggests that I work locally to use VB and then log out and back in as me if I need network access? This doesn't make any sense to me. Why would my wizards be affected by Nt Administrator rights when installed?

I don't know the answer to your question, but you might try uninstalling VB and then reinstalling it.
