Need help, where to learn?

Hey everyone, I am trying to figure out how all of this networking stuff works. I want to learn how to work with the stuff shown here...

I think this is the right section in the forum to be posting this. If anyone has information to what I need to learn, and maybe a website that can teach me, feel free to let me know :)!

You're at the "first diaper" stage and you want to "learn" the intricacies of running a marathon. Forget that site for a few months, and learn a) how the internet works - TCP, IP, UDP, etc., and b) various methods of communicating with other computers on the internet. You can't learn to run if you can't stand up.
