    Question

I have tried unsucessfully to write a link in another forum that uses vB. Basically the link is to a geocities site where my wav file is uploaded. Here is what I am writing:
]url="http://www.geocities.com/blahblah/blah.wav"]WAV FILE[/url] (of course the "]" is backwards to show you what I am writing!)

The address pops up correctly in the address line, but the site that comes up says "This page is not available". However if I highlight the address as it appears on that page and hit ENTER, the wav file can be downloaded. Any ideas what the deal is?

    Thanks

I think it's because the server of geocities can see that you were at a non-geocities page before clicking the link. So, it thinks you're stealing bandwith and it just says that the page doesn't exist.
