i have a problem with the shell command and i don't understand what the problem :

the command is as follow :

X = Shell("Notepad.exe & App.Path & "\test_Help.txt", 1)

Shell("Notepad.exe " & App.Path & "\test_Help.txt", 1)

Don't assign the Shell function a variable.
X doesn't need to do anything.
Just use it as above.
And even though it works both ways, you can also use Notepad.exe without it's extension.

Shell "Notepad " & App.Path & "\test_Help.txt", 1)
or
Shell "Notepad.exe " & App.Path & "\test_Help.txt", 1)

Works either way .
