[RESOLVED] system locale
hello,
i am just curious about it. some countries (ex. Germany etc) use comma (,) as a standard decimal character (.) and uses (.) to divide the long numbers into hundreds, thousands etc, instead of (,).
so under this Regional setting, will Win OS show myfile.txt as myfile, txt??

Re: system locale
I don't think that is the case, no.
If I wanted to send a file from the UK to a somebody in germany, the filename does not change. It is only culture sensitive info like number separators, currency symbols etc that are potentially different.
