    How can I find my motherboard type? can I find it thru my registry? how?

    i don't know how to do it through vb but

    you can either look at the info that first appears when your comp boots up or you can go to ami.com to download their utility to help you find out what type of motherboard u got

    Well ...

    One way is to open your PC and check it physically, or refer to the manufacturer's documentation.

    Frankly I don't know whether it will be possible. Try posting this in the API section as well. Perhaps they will have something useful.
