puzzling question
hi everyone
this is a question for a school assignment that has been puzzling me and my friends for awhile. It's getting to the point where we think it's impossible! It's a bit hard to describe so I drew it up in paint, this is the link to the picture.

I would really appreciate it if you had a look at it and gave me your thoughts?
Thanks heaps in advance!

Re: puzzling question
CD is irrelevant. Ignore that bit of information and the solution should be obvious: BC2 + CX2 = BX2

Re: puzzling question
I can see why you're having difficulty with the question, it's rather ambguous.
Kberry, why do you assume XD = X ??? X is not a distance, but the label to a vertex. It's not a dig, I'm just curious, becvause I think you might be on to something!
