without using acalculator, evaluate
(a)
sin45°/cos30°+ sin60°
(b)
tan45° + tan 30°tan 60°

Grrrrrr, ddon't feel like doing ascii art or drawing pics at the moment
But if you remember the triangle with sides 1,1 and Sqrt(2)
and the triangle with sides 1, 2, Sqrt(3)
But here's the values:
sin 45 = 1/Sqrt(2)
cos 30 = Sqrt(3)/2
sin 60 = Sqrt(3)/2
tan 45 = 1
tan 30 = 1/Sqrt(3)
tan 60 = Sqrt(3)
You shouldn't have too much problem to calculate the rest out now.
Cheers.

I know what you mean Raedwolf. :p
You will probably do/have already done something in class where you make a table of trig values. This is pretty much where the answers for all of the "without a calculator" come from.
