[RESOLVED] can a member still hope to get a negative rep removed
remember this thread by Brad Jones??
Acc. to it, the adminstrators will remove any challenged negative reputation that does not have a comment on it.
but, now that the who-repped-you feature is ON, can a member still ask Admins to look into the negative rep matter??

Nope. Now that we are showing names, that is the same has having a comment, so negative reputations -without- a comment will -not- be removed now.

I will update the Rep FAQ later today to reflect this change.

I've just noticed that too
But didn't we agree in a previous discussion that showing names is just gonna start problems between members!!!
What changed your mind?

Refer to last few posts in this thread.
It was an executive decision by Mr. Jones

Brad can I ask why you are now no longer removing negative rep points without comments as I thought the intent of that rule was to ensure that all negative reps were backed up by a reason. - ?
edit - or would you rather we fang it out with the repping member

Re: can i still hope to get a negative rep removed
It could be that if its no longer anomynous the rep'er will think twice before -ve rep'ing to make sure its legit. Thus, the need to revert blank -ve reps will not be needed.
If this works out fine then we can assume they will be left on. If members start having issues with it then I'm sure it will be turned off.

Re: [RESOLVED] can a member still hope to get a negative rep removed
I rarely had any doubt about any rep. Now there is no doubt at all. I don't have a strong preference one way or the other, but I won't mind any if this feature gets turned off.
