[RESOLVED] Remote Desktop--close down?
Does a Windows Remote Desktop connection close itself if it's idle?
Ex...
You open up a connection and then lock your computer and walk away for a while. I just want to confirm this is true so I understand why it happened to me. If so, is there an option to bypass this, without having to PostMessages to it from another program?
I'm sorry about this easy question, but I could not find it any FAQ or google.

Re: Remote Desktop--close down?
Depending on the Terminal servers settings for remote connections it will usually disconnect after 15 mins to 2 hours of idel time. What version of Server are you running?
It wont reset the session unless its specified but it sholdjust remain as a disconnected session.

Re: [RESOLVED] Remote Desktop--close down?
In the Terminal Server Manager are the configuration settings for specifying how it acts during a timeout. either disconnect and reset or disconnect and not reset or no timeouts at all.
