Mixed drinks for X-Mas

Anybody have some ideas of alcoholic and
non-alcoholic drinks.
It's my turn to give a X-Mas party give me some
good mixes.

Snowball - advocaat and lemonade - that is always a good one.

Banana daquiari - banana, cream, crushed ice and optional rum - the rum is optional to make it possible to serve non-alcoholic drinks. Still nice though.

Mulled wine is always nice - red wine (a reasonable one) warmed with cinnamon, mixed spice, cloves (NOT GARLIC) stuck in oranges and lemons, some sugar and orange/lemon zest and juice. Warm the winee but do not boil. Plenty of sugar and spice, careful with the lemon juice.

Christmas punch -

1 liter dark rum
1 pint cider
6 sliced oranges
1/2 cup sugar
cloves
cinnamon
nutmeg

place the sliced oranges onto a baking tray with the cloves on top, bake at 350 until oranges start to turn brown. combine the oranges and cloves into a bunch bowl with sugar and rum. Light the drink with the sugar cube, allow to flame for 2-3 mins.

Pour in the cider to extinguish, add the cinnamon and nutmeg, serves 15-18 people

Sam Smith's Winter Warmer is a beer. It is quite expensive, but your guests will appreciate it. It usually runs about $7.99 for a four-pack (the normal six pack of beer is usually $4.49 - $6.99). Every year the brewery in the U.K. puts a new "Christmassy" label on the beer, which is sort of classy. I will only have this once or twice a year, so it is a special beer.

Ray, I suppose it can be mixed with something else other than rum, I didn't make the recipe, I got it off of a program I have...

it shouldn't affect the taste too much....

I don't know what you're complaining about, $8 for 4 beers, that's sweet FA if it's good. What kind of crap do you drink that costs $4.50 (about £3) for 6? Either that or your beer is cheap.

1 Pint glass
2 shots blackcurrent cordial
2 shots Gin
2 shots Tequila
1 shot martini (optional)

and fill up to a pint with cider

play about with the amount of spirits in it, some people like it stronger, others not so strong, it depends how drunk you want everyone to get, and you can heat up the cider as well if you want.
