Actually, the problem is that they are NOT gay. Gay men
have MUCH more taste and respect for music than the boy

It has been my experience that people who use perjoratives

I'm prejudiced, we all are. Whether we act on those prejudices and actively discriminate is up to the situation, but in most cases you should never resort to that. And no, just because I'm saying this doesn't mean I'm perfect - I've given in on too many occasions and done something really stupid :(.

Maybe they do if they're completely socially inept, yes. I don't think that as a rule people will think you agree simply because you ignore them. Incidentally, why do you find it offensive? If you'd rather not disclose details then feel free to tell me where to go, but are you black or gay? A yes or no is enough, I'm just wondering if you find it offensive because you feel the terms apply to you, or if you are empathising with people who the terms refer to, or if you are just reacting the way you feel society expects you to. I'm not saying any of those is better than the others.

Personally I don't find it greatly offensive. I am a member of neither group. I wouldn't use either of the terms myself unless I was trying to offend though, and then it wouldn't be because I actually believed they were bad things. 'Nigger' is a word that we often see black Americans use themselves on TV.
