    Question Installing error with setup.lst

I created a package using PDW. When I tried to install it in a XP (version 2002) pc , it gave an error saying "could not write to the file named : C\WINDOWS\SETUP.LST . Please verify the destination drive is not write protected." There were Abort/Retry/Ignore to choose. I clicked "Ignore" button. Then a nother message came as "The SETUP.LST file could not be copied - Setup cannot continue" and intallation aborted.
There is no setup.lst file in C:\WINDOWS. So, I copied it there and made its read only status to false.
But still the same error comes. What should I do? Can anyone please help me....?

Use Inno instead to create your installer.

    amindi,

If you decide on using Inno Setup, Look at the third party tools also. They can provide a lot of help. You can find both in my signature.
