Need to contact Bit-Arts about Softlocx 4.0 where did they go?
I've used Softlocx 4.0 for 15 years to protect my VB program. Have to many programs with v4.0 that I can't upgrade to new version; and it has worked well for me.
Had a hard drive crash and lost my license and want to contact Bit-Arts to get an unlock code but they have disappeared from the earth. Can anyone assist with some information or a contact email address.
Reinstalling v4.0 on a newly formated system will permit you a 30 trial period; but when that expires I don't want to reformat again if someone knows what has to be done to establish a new 30 trial period.
I've tried deleting every softlocx entry in the registry after removing the program from the control panel. After install program still sees something that caused the 30 trial not to reset.
Help contacting Bit-Arts or help to get the free trial peroid reset would be appreciated. I have a lot of clients that count on me to provide unlock codes for their programs. So I'm in a serious situation.
Thank you for any help.

That's tough, man. When you installed your Bit Arts software, did the readme files have any contact information? Phone numbers? Also, have a look at all the links here if possible:
http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.bitarts.com
Maybe some of the pages have some information on what you can do or talk to.

Thanx Mendhak, I've tried all the links I could find. They all end up at a dead end. BAs site is now an advertisement for a domain purchase site. Hope someone can come up with some help!
