I have had a program that I ran under win98 that allowed me to play a mp3 through a specified soundcard using MCI api's and the MMControl. Now I need these same capabilites under win2000. Does anyone know how to play and mp3 through the specified soundcard using VB? .There Is Two Soundcards. The reason for this is that MCI is no longer supported in Win2000. Thanks in advance!!

If you are not going to give your program to other users,
consider using the Windows Media player AxtiveX control.

(Oh, forgive my lack of knowledge.... you say:
it is possible having two soundcards in one PC? Maybe...
yeah, maybe you just configured the DMA, IRQs and stuff.
ok. If you're willing send me mail about it. Please, give
me an explanation. I had A+, and know some hardware stuff,
but I don't know everything, you know. thanx.)

(Oh, another thing... If you're willing to send me mail
about the MCI stuff too, I can maybe help some more. :-)
