Hey guys, this is my first post so please bear with me.

I am/was a VB6.0 developer student (only 18months ago!) and am now having to learn .NET 2005 to keep up, I am considering setting up a forum for those people who are using the express editions of the Vs.NET 2005 IDEs to enable them to get some feedback/help/advice. I am thinking about setting this up in the next couple of weeks and would really appricheate any feedback/tips/suggestions you guys could give me.

Thanks

Welcome to VBForums!

Rather than spend your time setting up a forum (and trying to get members - which most people fail to do), you'd probably be better off just using an existing forum, such as our VB.Net forum (http://www.vbforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25) which already has hundreds of active members.

You'll be able to help more people, and as there is a high volume of threads you will probably find lots of info that is new to you too.
