VB6 runtime error-20553

I have a combo box with a list of reports. When I invoke these reports for the first time they work fine.
When I go to other reports which invoke another combo box to choose date and customer id and return to first combo box and choose the same report whichworked previously it gives me a vb6 run time error invalid parameter field.
But, I am not using any parameters for that reports.
Help.

I do not think it will help, but perhaps it will give you a clue. I looked up Error 20553 in my MSDN Library. It had the following verbiage.

Could not clean up the distribution history tables.

The above seems to be an SQL error, not a VB error.
