getting records on dbase

can u please help me with my problem regarding on how will i get the fields on my dbase. i have a dbase that composed of filenames, current date, status. i need to get each filename on the record then initialize the printer application on word then save it again to dbase with a different name and extended filename. how am i going to queue each filename on the printer driver?
