"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to penagate again."
Can't you make it timed also.
I mean, to be able to rep again the same person after a week (or so) ?
I don't give many reps, in fact I think I just gave about 3-4 reps since now.
But now I wanted to rep penagate, and I get this message.
I don't even remember when was the last time I repped him, it was so long ago...
It would be logical if it was timed also, instead of just giving X number of reps before repping someone.

There is no function to do this in vBulletin. So it will likely not happen. I understand the reason, but I feel with you. It is a bit stupid too. I owe VisualAd 3 reps, that means I have to give out 30+ reps to give him all of what he deserves. And that will take years to do with so few questions that I ask. I feel sorry for Visual..:(

You can always give out Reps to other members quality posts instead of just the ones that help you.

I do, but the quality of the posts in Game and Graphics section these days makes me get closer to give 30 -ve then 30 +ve...:D

yeah thats good advice, I do that alot... It always makes someone feel good when you let them know they did a good job, and someone appreciates it...

Not only that but it also adds a little extra something when you get a Rep from someone that wasnt even involved in the thread. Just someone that was searching for a solution and found your post. :)

Yup. :) But I wonder now if its more of a issue of Reps no longer being the "new" thing and its settling down into what its supposed to be?

So sad..
Give to receive, and give to give more..
