Hi all . could any one hook me with a free php program that allow me stream music just like radio that all visitors of mysite can hear the same song at same time or a free music stream service.Thanks

Does it have to be webbased? Did you look at shoutcast?

Thank u for u reply. Yes i want it to be webbased but i think shoutcast i have to pay for it but i look for some thing i free or php code I am looking for type of solution that u put a few mp3s in website and it starts to stream it .

well long time ago i went their site and i think i had to pay and also it does not have good tutorial on how to implement it:-(

You can use Windows Media Encode to create live streams. I've used it to stream a webcam but not for music in the sense of a online radio station

If you want a stream it needs to be encoded. And to encode it in realtime, which is what you asked for, you need a program running to do it.

Or are you just looking for music to be playing on your site, or something similar to the music on myspace?

well may be i put it incorectly what i have in mind is to put a few songs in my site and when my site visitors come they all hear the same song not if they are online in the same time at mysite. I hope i find a solution for it.Thanks

ahhh, well this can be done simply by using flash which is hidden out of view using CSS. The Flash movie will play the songs selected and autmatically stream them for you. This is the simplist way.

john tindel that is just flash mp3 player but it does play a group of songs like radio . I mean if all visitor visit at the same time the will not hear the same thing !! which i do not want that . I already know flash players but what i have in mind like Live radio thing but playing songs so all hear the same thing !!

Shoutcast is opensource, i.e. free.

ShoutCast became free awhile ago.

I use it for my radio station.
