    setup

    Hi,


    I'm running the setup as such:

    D:\Downloads\SQLEXPR.EXE /qb instancename=somename sapwd=somepwd securitymode=sql

    D: is a local partition. The setup gets to a point where it tells me that The selected components are being configures and then quits with no warnings or anything.

    Nothing is installed and it happens each time I run the setup.

    am I doing something wrong when passing the command line parameters?

    Presumably "somename" and "somepwd" are replaced by values, do they contain any spaces/punctuation etc?

    no, there are no spaces. I do realize that single quotes are required if there are spaces in teh values.
