So I run the package and deployment wizard and make up this EXE. I install it on this Windows XP box and it says that some files are out of date. It updates them then reboots the computer and again says the files are out of date.

So I get WISE v5.0 and make up a WSI file. I try to install that on a Windows 98 box and it says that the Windows Installer is out of date and refuses to go any further. I don't have a net connection on that box so I can't even update it.

And don't even get me started on trying to distribute DAO 3.6 and let's forget Windows 95! It needs Dcom95.exe. Akkkkkk!

How the heck are we supposed to make a nice distribution? What tools would you use?
