I am working on a program to do lightsaber effects. The algorithm can print it on a black background. I can add the color values using Get/SetPixel, but it does some weird things. Download the file here (http://www.geocities.com/sithrebel/saber.zip). You will need to right click and choose save file as. Just open it, click on a color button, and click the Get/Set Pixel button. Then click Ok! in the new window. You can see what I mean. Anyone know how to fix it? I know this program is disorganized. It is a test, so I can get the core to work before I implement most of the features.

I made an exe and it works just fine with blue. The other colors look ok expect near the edge by the person. Red looks a bit odd else where too. When stuff like that happens, try to make an exe and run it outside of VB. I have noticed other cases when running a program though VB messes up what it does compaired to outside of VB. If you just plan on using blue, the procuilder will work find once you make the exe.

I know that blue works pretty well. However, this will eventually be able to open pictures, you will be able to add the effect, then save. The reason it works with blue is because of the coloration of the picture. I just don't understand why it won't work...

With some programs, manly with a lot of graphics work, you need to make an exe for them to work right. Try to make an Exe file out of your program and run it, it works great for me once I do that. ;)

Hmm. When I make an EXE it still doesn't work right. All the colors work when you make it an EXE?
