crystal report 4.5 vb6 and accesss

I am new to crystal reports. I recently needed to make a graph report so installed crystal reports from the VS pro edition cd. When i open data report designer and select graph report it asks for mdb file. If i select the biblio, northwind data base it opens up. But if i try openign my mdb file it asks for password my mdb doesnt have any passwords.

I saw the crystal report version which shows 4.5 and my mdb file is made from accesss 2002 sp3.... is this a compatibility issue or something else ?

Crystal v4.5 is pretty ancient, the current version is 11. The older versions of Crystal had fairly crude and inflexible graphing capabilities, and it's possible there's a compatibility issue there.
