Problem With VB Controls
[code]
Had problems with windows..had to reinstall.
Then all else fell apart...I reinstalled vb 4 times
I can start vb and if I don't load any object I can run a
standard form. If I add an object I get this message and
then vb cancels
Reinstalling VB is not an option..tried that 4 times.
Anyone ever had this crap happen to them?
VB6 caused an invalid page fault in
module VB6.EXE at 018f:004b002c.

Do you have any background junk running? tsr, screensaver, keystroke logger? Try looking at your task list. Make sure you don't have any other programs running in the background.

The obvious...windows overinstalled my sp3/sp4 data updates and for some reason once installed you can't go back. Before you have the updates (SP), VB operates but once you update and lose the updates...forget it...the ocx's are out of wack.
Weird but true....

I think you should either re-install Windows or format.
Before you format, get a CD Burner. If you don't have one, get an external one from a friend of something.
Then, get all your important stuff and the format your PC.
