In access 2002 you have the option to setting the recording locking to "All Records, Edit Records, and None" - I have it set to Edit Records so that only the record that is selected will be locked.

If you have the recordselector on in you can see if the record is locked or not if you are running multiple instances of the mde. If you try to edit that record while its locked, access freaks out and throws error messages. How can I check if that record is locked or not?
