I have a question about two options, a page using Multiple CGI Scripts and a second with only a few...


Here is the Wrestlecar PC Homepage

Below is the same page but using multiple CGI Scripts to load everything, making updating much easier, and I can modify the colours/images/etc...with one click...

Which loads faster? Does the CGI page produce any errors? Do the pages look the same? Are all the images present?

Which browser are you using when you do the test, and which version...

IE 5.50.4134.0600 loads them both in basically the same time.

Although my firewall didn't like the ad banner code on the CGI one :(.

What do you mean? Its a ValueClick ad most likely...and the same script is being used for all of it, including the ad one. Must be the valueclick ad it didnt like...

Both work fine for me, no discernable difference in load times.
