    How do I retrive password for Admin in Visual Souce Safe? or what is the default password for Admin in Visual Source Safe 5.0?? Thank you very much for your help

    The default password is that there isn't one. On first using Admin (Visual SourceSafe Admin, rather than Visual Sourcesafe) if a password hasn't been set it will tell you - a message along the lines of "errm you've not got a password, which is a bit dodgy. Do you want to set one?"

    If there's one set, and you need to find out what it is, try torturing the person who set it. Eventually he/she will crumble (unless they have a taste for a bit of S&M) and let you in on the secret.
