    ?part=* Problem

    Referring to MageBB, the install.php file will not go past stage one, although the variable is set in the browser address, it works fine on one of my test servers but on the other it just sticks.

    Not working is here - http://rsserver2.gotdns.org/magebb/install/install.php

    I will post the original install.php on request. I'm hoping this is just a common bug like I need to update PHP version or something daft

    How are you collecting the part variable? You should be using $_GET['part'].

    Yes that's correct, right at the top of the PHP file.

    Do other scripts which use $_GEt work? See if renaming the variable works too.
