Thread: How can I find out what mmcontrol is doing?

    I've been using mmcontrol 6.0 in VB to play audio files with. What I need to know from it is what it's status is...i.e. Playing, Stopped, Paused, Etc...

    Does anyone know how I could find out...

    Furthermore if there is anyone who knows how to use DirectX to play sounds in VB please let me know...

    For Direct Sound look at http://members.dencity.com/dx4vb/
    for a tutorial.

    The multimedia control has a Mode property which tells you the current status.
