Connection Through Router
Hey, I'm trying to create a server between my friend and I so we can share files, but we have a problem. He has a router, but he does not know the password to it, therefore, he can not port forward to allow the connection. How would I manage to get around this? I heard something about reverse connections. What is this?
Thanks,
Nick

Re: Connection Through Router
He could connect to you, if you were the server application, and he was the client

Re: Connection Through Router
Check the web site for the router. Most times they will tell you how to reset all values back to the default (then you could probably find the default password for the admin account). Admin might be the default password.

Re: Connection Through Router
What make/model router does he have? Did he set it up, or is it his parent's or a work router, which he shouldn't have access to?
