I'm trying to use the multimedia player that's part of MCI32.ocx on a form to play AVI file we created that uses the MPEG compression technology.

When I open and play the file, I only HEAR the audio, I don't see the video. However, if I double click this very same file that didn't show in my form within Windows Explorer to open and play, everything plays and shows as intended.

When I open a different AVI file within my form and play this file that was created somewhere else, the file shows the video and plays the audio just fine.

Where can I seek out an updated media player component for VB? Or is the version I have now the most up-to-date?
