Edited: Come talk about Penagate's signature!
Yeah, let that rhetorical nugget bounce around inside your head for awhile...

That's recursive. Not rhetorical.

Re: What's the meaning of meaning?
Penagate, your sig says I'm running Firefox, when I am, in fact, running IE 7 beta.

Its impossible unless Microcrap added Firefox to the UA string, can you post a copy of your UA string here?
And Firefox is still better than it

Are you dreaming? Why would I want to post that here. This is a public forum. VisualAd might see it.

PM it or E-mail it too me.
I have a copy of the string already:
Here is from my code: (Lines 155-156)
Code:
# Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0b; Windows NT 6.0)
'MSIE' => 'Internet Exploiter',
Parrern matches for IE, this is for Firefox: (Lines 157-158)
Code:
# Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20051102 Firefox/1.6a1
'Firefox' => 'Firefox',
There is no way they can possible cross unless Microcrap added Firefox to the UA string.
If you find anything that really breaks it let me know
Cheers,
Ryan Jones

Have you applied the latest patch? I believe that problem has been corrected, although it breaks compatibility with previous pineapples.

Can't you just strip your username out of the string? Don't you realize that gets logged by every site you visit
