COM Port
Hi, I have a small request. I have been testing my computer to see if I can use the virtual COM port to send data out. There is nothing connected to the computer in either of the COM ports so whenever I plug my device into the com port it recognizes that there is a hardware being connected to it, but I want to configure the hardware so that I can communicate out through COM3. But there is a slight problem, the computer gives the my hardware access to COM7 instead of COM3. How can I make the device communicate with COM3 only! Any help on solving this problem is appreciated, thanks
*Note that there is nothing connected to the COM ports when I am plugging in my device to the computer.

Sounds like a IRQ issue... IRQ's (Interrupt Request) Lines
