Up and running quickly
Recently on one of my older Athlon computers I have been having problems. Out of the blue the computer just starts malfunctioning to the point where I need to reinstall everything on it. It has Anti-virus software so I dont think its viruses. Do you guys have any ideas on how to quickly get my computer up and running? I’m thinking of installing another hard drive and making a clean copy of Windows and all the stuff that I currently have in it, and make it dual boot, so that when my first windows system crashes I can just boot to the next one. Do you guys have any other ideas? Something that might be easier then what I am currently thinking of doing.

Is your Anti-virus software (and definitions list) up to date?
Have you checked for spyware etc? (there are some free ones listed in the FAQ of this forum).
