Win api playing sounds at different octave

I've been trying to find code that creates a virtual organ.
The pitch, lenght and the octave of the sounds shouls be changed. I wonder if there is any winapi for this?
Any help regarding this wolud be appreciated!

On NT machines, use the Beep API.
