Hard-drive FTP ??
so i have a 120gb internal hardrive in a usb case. i have plans on puttin all of my files that regard to school and work on the hard drivde. but i want to leave it at home and plug in so that, for instance i am at work and need to pull data, i can connect to my 120gb harddrive at home. am i able to do that, i would find that easier than transporting the hd case around to other sites. i was think such an ftp server ? any help would be great, all i want to do is be able to get files from a remote locateion. - thanks justin.

If you want to access your HD you have to leave the computer on all day.
And yes an FTP server will work for these purposes, Filezilla server is a good FTP server and client .
