I wish to capture some screen shots from the video I filmed. Is there a software available for doing this? The print-screen window doesn't seem to work.

BSPlayer has a capture tool.
Google BSPlayer.
Open your video file with BSPlayer.
Hit pause when the scene comes up.
Then right-click the control area, click options - > Capture Frame
The picture should be in your BSPlayer Program Folder.
BTW, BSPlayer is also useful to load subtitle files. Its a great all around video player.

Have you tried something as simple as ALT-PrintScreen and pasting the captured image into Paint or something similiar?

Oh yes I have tried this with winnamp and it doesn't work.
I finally downloaded a software called MovieSnapshot. Its freeware and does a good job.
Another trick I learned was do a CTRL +i if the movie is playing in windows media player.
