hi all

after searching my application i got the error number which is occure in my application. i have windows 2000 on my pc and access 2000 my client send me the db in access 97 i only open it not convert it to access 2000 and created the application and send the exe ( Package) to my client but when he install the application at his end the application show him the error
error 429 ActiveX component can't create object
i am not able to understand the proble cause it can't show me error at my end and work fine please help me regarding this it show the error when i compacting the db and use it

What did you package it with and what did you include in the package?

i am creating the package file using Visualstudio's Package software i have added all required Dll in it and included the DB also in it But as i am Compacting the database it show me error there.
and if i remove that code from there it work fine
please help regarding this

it show me same error when i run the Access reports for my Data

if any one know why this is happning please send me answer

Well if it can't create an object then you are not deploying all files that you need. Did you read Installation Problems in my signature?

Hi randem,

thanks for you reply but i am not getting what do say ?? in forumn there are no of threads in you signature can you give me specific threads pls as i am able to creating the package on my pc and able to run at my end very well i got this error when i am Compact the Datbase in my project and also when i open the Reports in Access for my records so at that time also it show me same error can you plase help me ??

How more specific does it have to be. You have a problem with not deploying all of the files and SP's that you need. The link gave you ideas and possible solutions. That is usually good enough for most. What exactly are you expecting? You must do some of the work. Do you have a specific question?
